Family Home Evening

This year we have been trying really hard to commit to our weekly family home evening. This is something our church asks us to do. We take one evening each week and do something as a family that includes gospel teaching. This could be as simple as a little song and scripture and as ornate as a neighborhood wide treasure hunt. I got some cute pics when we took the boys out for ice cream and discussed how doing things together as a family (like going out to ice cream) can strengthen our family we also discussed how going to church, saying family prayers and having family scripture study are all ways we can strengthen our family! We then started a jar that we add noodles to each time we do one of these activities...when it is full we get to do something super cool together as a family. ( like go to a water park, or mini vacation)
