Ohhhhh, sick days

well we have been home bound this week since Friday because Kevin got sick. He got an initial outbreak of cold sores/fever blisters which the doctor said is usually a pretty big deal for a first timer, poor thing takes after his dad I guess with the fever blister thing ( I don't really get those) but he has them all over even in his throat and on the outside which is what you see on his cheek in the pics. We have been playing lots of games and taking lots of pain killers around here but it has been nice to have so much time to get stuff done around the house and to find so much time to play games and with our toys. We have gotten to eat lots of smoothies, shakes and yogurt because that is pretty much Kevin's diet if he gets a shake so do we right? I am so glad that the doctor said he wouldn't be contagious by Friday (Adam's birthday party) If I can keep Adam healthy through all of this it will be a miracle. So far so good though and just two more days till' Friday so fingers crossed here we go. We miss all of our friends and can't wait to join them again hopefully Friday :)

oh yeah and we have watched a lot of movies and caillou too.

First Day of Pre-School

Kevin went to school today and was really good and didn't cry once he got there at all. He cried for the hour before but once we got there he was just fine. He had a great time and even got a page of homework, lol...
afterwards we ate some lunch at the park and then I took Kevin to get some ice cream at McDonald's. Adam fell asleep in the car long before we hit the drive thru.

Adam had a tough time leaving Kevin at class but I think he will warm up to the idea of having mom all to himself :D

We put Kevin in a Burbank Rec. Tiny Tots class for 31/2 to 5 year olds and it is perfect at only an hour and half on Tue/Thurs. and of course it was very cost effective. I am so glad he had a good time.

Even lunch can be fun!!

Kevin loves making funny faces at the camera these days and Adam just likes seeing himself in the mini screen :D

(those are orange juice popsicles and they did eat all their chicken and veggies, they are pretty good eaters in general)

To the pass the time

Lately we have been getting more and more vacancies here at the building and so we have been spending lots of time in vacant apartments either showing or in this case taking pictures for ads. This time the boys wanted to get into the action. I think they would love to live in a home with absolutely no furniture.

For a Super Fun Time call up Mima and Papa!!!

Over the weekend we went down to Mima and Papa's house in Huntington Beach. The boys always have fun when we go there and we have lots of pics to prove it :)

A splashing good time!!
Papa sets up the slide going right into the kiddie pool for hours of fun

When it was time to leave Adam remembered this spot and hid there to not have to go home, we found him though, there was quite a fight about leaving after only 8 hours of playing at Mima and Papa's house!!!

singing songs on the Hammock!!

and you said I never posted pics of myself

Yup totally naked in the pool with a Popsicle, now this kid knows how to cool off

Hair cuts are always fun! Kevin takes it much better than Adam!!!

Seeing Blue from here to there

So, friends and fam...We found out what we are having and we are very excited to say it is a BOY!!!! I bet you didn't see that coming :D I would put a picture up of the little guy but we didn't get one because he was rolling around and around through the entire ultrasound and wouldn't hold still at all making this by far the longest ultrasound I have ever had but don't worry we are very excited it is a boy. It is actually just what I was hoping for, I will surely remain both Queen and Princess of the household for at least a few more years! Oh yeah and bring on the Father/Son camp-outs...I'm a big fan :D

Yippie!!

Bryan passed his second arch exam for the NCARB. We are very excited because this means he can't be fired at work for not passing two exams in his first two years at the job...yay for job security!! It also means an automatic promotion at his second year anniversary in January. He still has to take 6 more tests to be a licensed architect but it will happen. We are so proud of him, these are tough tests.

success

So because we are short on cash but still good on time for Adam's birthday party, I have found a few ways to save some green and tonight I accomplished the hardest part or at least the most tedious part of my master plan!!! yay for nights without the family being home or awake!!

Here is to hoping it is a super fun and inexpensive party. I love throwing/planning parties, especially throwing them for the most special people in my life!!

We are joining in!!!

Well folks it is official we are joining in the home owning world. After a nearly 6 month wait on certain city approvals and such we are officially buying a home in Anaheim California. We are really excited. We won't be moving until Decemberish so don't get any crazy ideas about dropping us as friends :D . But here it is you've already seen a pic of it in an earlier post but here is what it actually looks like now.

It is green point rated which totally makes Bryan happy and 1850 square feet which makes me happy. A brand new 4 bed 3 bath. Kevin loves that it has stairs and bunk beds (the model had bunk beds) Luckily we will have bunk beds for the boys too so he won't be disappointed.
