Time to Meet Owen!!

Well I had grown as big as I could!  I just knew the kiddo had to be massive.  All my other boys came on their own but Owen was going to need a little help out.  I had been contracting all night but nothing consistent, luckily I had finally reached my induction date!! April 9th!! We rose at 4:30 a.m. and got ourselves put together enough to drive to the hospital to have a baby!!!  Here is me before we left LOL!!

Then came our 4th sweet baby boy!!  He was huge!  9lbs 14oz and 21 and 1/2 in long.  We were so excited to finally meet him and see that, well, he looked like his brothers...shocker...
He got this super cute hat because his head was too big for the normal little cotton ones you get so they got this from the NICU where people hand make these sweet hats that are often waaayyyy too big for the NICU babies and he got a little hat that would stay on his head.  It was so sweet of the nurses to do all that for him.

Here is Owen in his first and last newborn diaper...it cracks me up.  It so doesn't fit!

My baby he is going to continue to melt my heart forever, I am sure of it...

The boys came to visit and loved taking turns holding Owen and getting to see their brand new baby brother!

Mima and Poppa stopped by too.
 ...and Grandma and Grandpa...

 and Nana...

This is going to be one loved little man!!

Easter Weekend 2012

This year we started our Easter weekend Here!!!  It was lovely.  It was hot and we were the only people at the pool!!  I have to be honest I was shocked that we had not had Owen!!  The boys wore themselves out then we went home and took a nap so that we could be ready for the next party!!! The Low Family Easter Party!!

This kids were excited that Alex came because it gave them someone else to play with and she added the girl to the whole mix...  In these pictures the boys were trying to find the perfect flower for the princess and she was deciding if they were good enough...soooo funny!!

poor Bryce gets used and abused at these parties, good thing we don't have them everyday.  The boys loved being swung really high up in the air!!!

perfect example

don't forget our annual Easter egg hunt.  The boys were so excited when they realized the golden eggs contained 5 one dollar bills!!!! Woohoo...they still have not spent all of it now nearly 2 months later...it was sooo much money!!! :D
funny story that came out of the day!!...I wasn't there but I was told they had to collect an airplane off of a neighbors roof...Bryce lifted Bryan onto the roof...I would have loved to have seen and video taped that...Bryan had some hefty scratches to show for his endeavors but they got the plane back!!

The next day was Easter Sunday!!

The boys woke up bright and early and had to search for their Easter baskets!!  which they were excited to find that the Easter bunny had brought them new swim stuff and some bubbles and diving rings!!!

We then got ready and went to church.  Well the boys did.  I stayed home as I had begun seriously having some labor pains and was pretty immobile at that point with my pulled groin.

That afternoon Grandma and Grandpa and Nana and Uncles Geoffrey, Christopher, and Josh and Aunt Sarah came over and cooked up an awesome Easter Dinner and we all got to spend some time together.  It was really nice, I continued to feel icky...(but I was happy to finally be feeling like a baby was coming)

That night we packed up the boys and took them over to Mima and Poppas for the night.  We had an early morning and exciting day ahead of us...We were to be induced the next morning at 5:00 a.m   eeeeeeeeekkkk!!!

Losing Teeth!!

Kevin started losing his teeth this year!!

In January he lost his first tooth!!

and in March he lost his second tooth.  So now he has his two front bottom teeth missing.

Funny tooth fairy story:  With Kevin's second tooth he said that the quarters that the tooth fairy brought him were definitely the same quarters that had been in Mom and Dad's room...he's crazy!!! He even showed marks on them that he recognized, he is very observative...So maybe the tooth fairy borrowed my quarters this time...she paid me back later :D

check out this plate of food, no doubt the kid can eat!! he ate all of that,  by the way!!!

Valentine's Day 2012

This year Valentine's day was a little different for us because it fell on a sad occasion.  This year Great Grandma passed away and her funeral was on February 14th.  We celebrated with our traditional red and pink dinner the night before and it actually turned out to be very fun since we were having the Sister Missionaries over for dinner.  We got to share our tradition with them.  I wish we would have taken pictures but sadly we didn't.  Also Aunt Sarah joined us for dinner which was fun too since we had Valentines the boys had put together for the Sisters and for My sister too :D.  The boys helped me make these Valentines this year.

When the boys woke up on Valentine's Day they were greeted with a super healthy breakfast

and their mailboxes had valentines from Mommy and a treat for each of them.  They were very excited!!

Kevin went to school so he could attend at least part of his big V-day party with his school pals and give out his Valentines there.  Then we picked him up early and headed up to Burbank to celebrate the life of someone we all loved very much, Great Grandma,  Ethel Low.  She had been fighting Leukemia at the end of her life, she lived to be 84 years old and I know she is happy to be with Papa now as she missed him so much.  Ethel worked at the studios in wardrobe and had wonderful stories of working with all of the stars.  Bryan remembers her telling them all to him when he was younger and he being excited to tell his friends who all his Grandma knew.  I got to know her too which was such a blessing in my life.  Before Bryan and I got married I lived with Grandma for a few months while we saved up for the wedding.  I moved up  to Toluca Lake and Bryan would come visit on all his days off and we would hang out with Grandma and I got to hear all her stories first hand.  She was honestly so kind hearted and I knew she loved me and our family and all of our boys loved her too.  Here are a few pics of her at work.  (She didn't like her picture being taken much the last couple of years)

Isaac turns 2

This year because I am in the condition I am in we had two small birthday parties for Isaac instead of one big one.  We had one with family at my parent's house and then we had one with some friends at our home.  Isaac was very excited to have days devoted to him.  He is really into sweets so having doughnuts and cake several times in one week were extra special.  Isaac got lots of fun stuff for his birthday this year including a Winnie the Pooh movie which is way cute and some clothes and, of course, cars...but his big gift this year was his very own big boy race car bed.  He has tried it out a couple of nights but has opted so far for his crib.  He actually will lay down in the bed and when we leave he just moves his pillow blanket, blankie, and himself into his crib without ever bothering us.  It is pretty funny to us that he has actually never crawled out of his crib but makes a habit of crawling into it!!

These pictures are not great quality, I'm not sure what went wrong but I hopefully can find some more pics of his parties :D!!

the birthday boy!!

 all the boys!!

yes, we had Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for his birthday!!!

I love this picture because Kevin is so excited for him!! (such an awesome big brother)

the big boy car bed!!

The second party was a day later when we had our good friends, the Cookes, come down and hang out with us for the day.  This was a crazy boy play date!! They spent a couple of hours at the park then came in for dinner and an awesome cake (decorated by Kien) with candles and all.  Isaac had so much fun running with the big boys and sleep came easy to all that night!!

boys being boys on the slide!!

our big boy, I can't believe he is two years old already!!
