Adam makes me laugh!

Here is a video on why Adam cracks me up almost all day everyday. and thanks mima and papa, as you can see Adam loves the trampoline. Sorry the video is a little dark, apparently we didn't have on any lights tonight after dinner.

Update: the patios are all finished. here is the finished product, check out Kevin's chair so that he had front row seats to all the action as the last one went up yesterday. Today we got to watch them paint on the sealant. Oh the fun we have!!

A first time for everything

Yesterday I tried my feet at snowboarding. I have never done anything but sled down an icy slope so it was pretty funny to those watching, I'm sure.

I am sore today beyond belief but probably because my poor body got so racked by my being on my rear end more than on my feet. Here are some pics for your enjoyment, Ha!!

Big Happenings

Today has been a big day at our house. This morning at 8 a.m. the guys showed up to tear down our patio fence. The boys thought this was awesome!! Then they have been outside our window all day long working on rebuilding it. We have had saws and hammerings and such right outside our window exciting my boys all morning and will continue through the end of the week. Surprisingly they are asleep, I have no idea how they are sleeping through this but what can I say I trained them well...

My Valentine's Day

Kudos to Bryan, as always for planning a super fun Valentine's Day. Bryan is always in charge of V-day and every year he does something amazing. This year he got us a babysitter for the afternoon and we went out to brunch at this amazing little restaurant in old town Pasadena called Elements Kitchen. It was so yummy then we walked around and I was supposed to find a super cute outfit to buy, but I couldn't find anything super cute that I wanted so I had to take a rain check on that. It was so nice to get out and not have to do any of the planning and just hold hands for hours, almost 5 to be exact. I love Valentine's Day!

The boys had so much fun hanging with their friends today and eating too many sweets. The party was initially supposed to be a park thing but was brought indoors due to the rain. here are some highlights.

These pics don't do justice to the chaos that was here, but it was fun chaos. We had about 15 little ones here today give or a take a couple. There were tons of adorable pics of all the kids but I will leave it up to their mom's to brag on them.

Sick Day...I mean Snow Day

Today we took a trip up to Frazier Park. Bryan took a sick day so we could beat the crowds. We had so much fun for about 30 minutes. The temperature was 27 degrees there today and it was snowing most of the time we were there. We really got to experience a little bit of winter. Then the boys got cold and miserable and we had some hot chocolate and brownies that we had brought along and we called it a day. It is always fun to see the snow!

We made snow angels and did some sledding and we tried to make a snowman but the snow was like powder and wouldn't stick. Adam really enjoyed eating the snow. We couldn't find snow boots so rain boots had to do for today but we were really glad we had them in the end.

The Hair dresser

So many of you might know this about me but I hate going to get my hair done. I get it done as cheaply and as infrequently as I can get away with. There are a couple of reasons for this.

1. I hate paying for it

2. I hate having product in my hair

3. I feel that they are out to get me and make me look completely ridiculous.

I mean absolutely no offense to my friends who do hair, I have never gone to you as it may end our friendship, lol. But here is an example of why I am not a big fan of hair dressers.

This story is from my sister's wedding day. I had an idea of what I wanted my hair to look like. In the end I got what I wanted but first I had to go through what the Hair dresser thought my hair should look like. check this out...

Can you see the look of disbelief on my face, Yikes so then I had to tell her what iron to use, what strands to curl, and so on. I should have done it myself which I would have done if my sis had not thrown a little bit of a stink over it. But in the end it was okay but man it started out bad. Here is a pic of the final product.
