Is it the age?

Am I now grown up? I have asked myself this lately due to a few comments that have been made to me actually, the same comment 3 times by 3 different people. the comment is and (yes they all approached this cautiously) "You seem to have changed from a teenager to a woman overnight"....To myself "really?" So I have been thinking what has changed. My hair has changed, if anything I thought it was sort of an immature hairdo (I mean not really grown up), I have two kids but have had that for over a year now. I wore make-up on Sunday, may explain one of the comments does not explain the other two. Maybe I just all of the sudden started looking old, how sad, better put...I have flourished into womanhood so I am here to embrace it, I am no longer a teenager or one of the young couples in the ward or so cute...blah blah (all the comments I use to get for all of these years) I have grown up and it shows.

i'm SOOOO feelin' ya on this one. just wait till kevin is 10. you'll think "i'm totally not old enough to have a 10 year old"! i'm always afraid that i'm "one of those women who tries to look young but obviously is not". question, at what age must you stop shopping in the juniors department?

Oh No! I hope I am not considered "1 of the 3" I was just helping the conversation along and through in my non-sense bit about feeling like I've grown up a lot too over the last few years. You look great!!!

All I can think to do is quote someone really wise --- in the words of Brittney Spears, "I'm not a girl . . . not yet a woman." I don't know why, but that's what popped into my head.

Welcome to womanhood, dear Tanya! it is a wonderful place and I would never ever go back to girlhood even if I had a chance. I celebrate each of my 75 years. You are become a lovely young womanand have made the transition with great ease.
Love you,
Aunt Grammy
