From Yardage to Duvet in 3 hours

I am so excited I made a duvet cover, I know, I know it is a giant pillow case. But it is fun fabric and it looks cool in my room...and I made it. Thanks to Inspiration and advise from Michelle Barty it turned out great. It went pretty fast the longest time was spent on pinning and cutting and dealing with mass amounts of fabric. it takes about 11 yards of fabric for a queen. the project cost me $22 plus tax. But it totally gave my room an update and covered my comforter which was a cheap one that immediately started falling apart upon putting it on the bed :( . In all, a fun project and way more cost effective than buying at the store.

Awesome! I love that fabric! I've almost bought it the last 3 or 4 times I've been to Michael Levine.

Fancy! Great job on the duvet, and I'd say it is DEFINITELY more challenging than a pillowcase.
