Owen is destined to be friends with Maryn because his big brothers and her big brother's are Best Friends. We might live a couple counties away but that can't keep good friends apart...(plus one of my besties happens to be her mom) Maryn turned one and aside from reminding me that I feel guilty for not doing baby books for Isaac and Owen "yet" because her mom has the done them for HER four kids... She had a super cute party! The pool was awesome and kept the boys occupied for hours ( plus when they are with their buddies anything is fun). The company was fun and I got to see some of the Cooke Extended Family who always make us feel like their own family. Owen and Maryn got to spend a few minutes getting to know each other over a baby Kangaroo.
And...yes Owen pet the baby roo too, that's his cute little chunky hand!
We attended the messiest party I have ever seen a couple of months ago. It was probably the most fun my boys have had at a party but boy was everyone a mess! Eating donuts off a string...ready...set...go!
Bubbles!
Throwing cheeseballs at dad! Shaving cream worked for making them stick! Who can stick the most in the allotted time!
Pie eating contest! Find the gummy worm in the pie first!
There was also slime, finger painting, silly string and hair spray paint!
This year we set out to win the grand prize at our community bike a parade! Our little star this year was Owen the Rocket Flyer!
The boys all decorated their bikes with the help of the Davis girls (last year's winner) and they all turned our awesome!
In the End Owen WON! And we got a free all day rental of the pool house in our community! That's awesome because it costs $100.00 to rent that thing for the day! Adam was very excited because that means he gets to have his birthday there!
After the parade we napped then headed up to Studio City and the Goddard's home to watch some super awesome fireworks and see all of our old friends! Sadly this is the last year we will be able to go up there because our sweet friends the Goddards are moving. :(
Isaac ended up watching the fireworks through the living room window since it was a little too scary outside.
We had a Hitch installed on the "Swagger Wagon" it was supposed to take 45 min. But it took 2 hours! So the boys and I had a lot of time to waste in the Camping World store! They LOVED the LED light caps! Daddy actually ended up getting one from his brother and it was awesome on our camping trip!
