Christmas!!

Finally the most wonderful day of the year!  The boys are so spoiled by their family.  Their aunts and uncles, Grandmas and Grandpas are all taking care of these cute little guys!

Owen loved the "babas" he got in his stocking!

The boys all got I love Lake Tahoe monkeys.  They loved them and all wanted to wear them around their necks.

It just wouldn't be Christmas at our house without some masks!

Owen got this Pirate Ship and was so excited.  I loved this Christmas with Owen.  He was ecstatic about everything!  It was so fun to watch his excitement.

remote control fighting robots were a big hit!

 giant dragons and super heroes!

I got lots of fun stuff for the kitchen!  I was super excited about my pot and my hand vac!

In the morning Grandma and Grandpa were here and at dinner time Nana, Ziggy and Uncle Geoff came and it was Christmas all over again.  Isaac loved his costume from Nana!  and the boys loved their monster trucks, legos and spinny things they got from their aunts and uncles.

Kevin shows his excitement for everyone to see.  He really wanted footy pajamas for Christmas and when he opened them he was dying with excitement!  Such a funny kid!

The biggest thing the boys got for Christmas was probably their Ripsticks.  Kevin and Adam both scored one and Isaac got a hurricane razor.  It is a bike with razor wheels on the back so it can do doughnuts.  It is a pretty crazy trike!  For some reason I don't have pictures of this.  I think we were all so excited to go outside and try them out we didn't remember that part!  I was the first to get up on Ripstick so I feel pretty proud of that accomplishment.  I then got to show the boys how it was done!

Christmas Eve!

The boys had a fun time Christmas Eve.  Kevin and Adam got Heeliez for Christmas.  They are tennis shoes that have wheels on the back so you can walk or roll along.  I had told them that they could have them when they were 10, knowing Mima and Poppa had already gotten them for them.  The excitement was crazy fun!  Owen and Isaac were equally excited, they got new light up shoes.  Owen actually slept in his shoes because when I tried to take them off he threw an absolute fit so he just went to bed with his shoes over his jammies.

such a cute bug looking at his book at the end of a super fun Christmas Eve. I just love everything about Christmas!

Things I Don't Want To Forget

The boys are growing up so stinking fast.

Kevin:  says he will have 1 boy and 5 girls when he grows up making a total of 6 kids.
He also says, When he serves his mission in Japan, he will be"An American Boy In Japan!"  imagine that said with lots of excitement...
Kevin loves reading books.  He has read in the last month, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide, and is currently working his way through the first Harry Potter Book.
Kevin has really been doing well with Piano.  He has been picking it up super fast.
Apparently Kevin and his friends sister, Carmen,  have already agreed to get married after their missions.
Kevin wants to be an actor when he grows up, you know like Brad Pitt...last time he got his haircut he found a picture of Brad Pitt and asked the lady to cut his hair like that...

Owen:  If you ask him where his nose is he will stick his finger right up into it!!
If mom or dad raise their voices for any reason Owen comes running to get hugs to make sure he is not the one in trouble.
Owen now says Adam, but he pronounces it "A..M..."  he makes it two syllables
Owen is still a milk fanatic.  I think he could drink an entire gallon in a day if I let him.

Isaac:  I tell Isaac his pants are on backwards, He replies, "No just my pockets are"
conversation between Isaac and Kevin:  Isaac:  "Mom, can we buy some twins"  Kevin, "No because we can't even buy a sister"
Isaac calls a back pack and pack pack...
Isaac's teacher told me he got a hole in his pants at preschool, he responded, "It's okay, Debbie has Holes in her pants"  Debbie is my good friend and he is right she has some jeans that have holes in them that she wears, obviously if Debbie is doing it, it is super cool.

Adam:  asks me, "If I have girl babies will you get toys for my girls, because you only have toys for boys at your house"
Adam recently decided he didn't like string cheese anymore he announced it at lunch, "My string cheese days are over, mom"
Adam said I am the best mom EVER...when I asked why he said, "Because you let us go to fun classes like musical theater, and football" hhhmmm.
Adam said he likes a girl in his musical theater class.  He gets all red and giggles whenever the name Kiera is brought up.

Kevin made this nativity for me at Scouts... I'm in love with it!

Owen and Isaac playing connect 4 together, sort of

When the big boys do their reading Owen does not want to feel left out.  He always goes to find himself a book too.
I just adore these boys.  I love all the ways they make me laugh and keep me smiling.  They are just growing into such great kiddos!

Merry Grinchmas!!

This year my friend, Kathy Wallace, and I decided to throw a Christmas Party for our Kiddos.  We decided on a Grinch theme.  We had so much fun with it!

First I did my hair...(I look a lot like my sister, Sarah, in this pic)

I found these great Bingo cards on Etsy.  They were perfect and the kids had so much fun playing.

I drew Grinch faces on the cups for the punch and the Grinch pudding

Grinch pudding!  This was actually really yummy. It is Sprite, Pineapple Juice and lime Sherbet...yum!

The Party was held at Kathy's home and she did amazing at the decorations.  She really did turn it into a mini Whoville!  I loved everything.

The kiddos started by watching the Grinch  cartoon.  Then they made some necklaces (the party was coed)
Then we played Bingo.  After that I had a game called Melting the Grinch's heart.  I froze cranberries in green colored ice cubes.  Then put each cube in a Ziploc bag.  Whoever melts the cube completely and gets to the cranberry first wins!  After that, we played pin the heart on the Grinch.  The Grinch was drawn by Carmen, Kathy's daughter.  She did an amazing job!

Here are the Moms!  These are some fun gals!
